Sherry MacDonald Reading

On September 16th at 1pm join FemFest artist Sherry MacDonald at the John J. Conklin Theatre (University of Manitoba) for a free public reading from her work. Come hear from a professional playwright and have an opportunity to ask questions!

Primarily a playwright, Sherry’s plays have been produced in Vancouver, Calgary, and Orlando Florida and include among others The Stone Face, The Duchess of Alba, Iraqi Karaoke, and Cowgirl Jane. A filmmaker, her short films, Blindspot and Iraqi Karoke (based on her play) have screened at festivals locally and internationally. Recently, Sherry was writer-in-residence at the Writers Trust Pierre Berton House in beautiful Dawson City, Yukon! She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and her work is published by Anvil Press.
