FemFest 2018: Staging Resistance
FemFest celebrates 16 years with a focus on life-changing theatre for everyone. Highlights from the festival include touring performers from Toronto to Morocco and a collaboration between Sarasvàti and Manohar Performing Arts of Canada to produce The Game. Women’s Comedy Night Fundraiser

Join us for our third annual event celebrating Winnipeg’s amazing female comics. We are pleased to again offer an early and a racier late show, this time in the more accessible Club 200. Be sure to get your tickets early to avoid missing out!
October 15 – December 7, 2018
This year’s interactive touring show will be presented at high schools throughout Manitoba. The production centres around the experiences of newcome youth in Canada, and was developed after extensive interviews with community members.

Community tour in various venues
This annual event to celebrate International Women’s Week will be dedicated to telling a mosaic of stories about women’s lives. Monologues from playwrights across Canada as well as performance pieces will be featured in community performances at various locations.
May 2019 (work-in-progress showcase)
Work will begin this year on an upcoming project about reconciliation in Canada. Stay tuned for more information as the project progresses.
