This promenade-style performance will include art in all forms in unexpected places. Short performances will tackle the theme of climate change while being situated in our own downtown environment. Featuring brand new work devised and curated by the ensemble members of this year’s Launchpad Project – a selected group of theatre artists representing a new wave of Winnipeg creatives.
The live promenade will be at five outdoor sites in downtown Winnipeg or audience can choose to purchase a ticket to the livestream. The in-person experience is limited to 10 audience members. Ticket purchasers will be notified of the starting location prior to event. If you are coming in person please review our Health and Safety Protocols. You can also choose to watch from the comfort of your own home through the livestream. Tickets purchases are required. The private link for viewing will be shared the day of the performance.
Content Warnings: Artists will be performing without masks so audience should remain distant at all times, depiction of a funeral, loud noises and immersive audience experience.
Gratitude goes out to site hosts: City of Winnipeg, Plug In ICA, WAG, The Bay Downtown, Manitoba Hydro, and the University of Winnipeg Department of Theatre and Film for their support.
