SHOW DESCRIPTION

Based loosely on atrue story, HUNGER is about a woman’s struggle against political and emotional turmoil as she undertakes a hunger strike on the steps of the Guatemalan Capital Building. Performances raised funds for Amnesty International and the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture. Performed at Theatre Passe Muraille’s Backspace (2000) and Colin Jackson Studio (2001), published in International Plays for Young Audiences (Meriwhether).
