Dust off your fedora and polish up your high heels because Winnipeg’s Sarasvàti Productions is heading back in time to the 1940’s when men were the boss – well maybe not!
Cary Grant was one of Hollywood’s biggest romantic and comic male leads and his talents are evident in the 1940’s classic film, His Girl Friday. In this classic comedy, Grant plays a newspaper editor opposite on-screen ex-wife and reporter Rosalind Russell, another one of Hollywood’s past bright lights.
Join us in a screening of His Girl Friday and help raise operational funds for Sarasvàti Productions on Monday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Cinematheque, 100 Arthur St. The ticket price of $15 includes free popcorn, and you can test your Canadian trivia knowledge and win a prize.
A prize will also be given for the best costume with a 1940’s or 1950’s flare.
You can purchase tickets with your credit card below or call Andrea at 204-612-1112.
