Free workshop for emerging artists on Sunday, January 3rd and Saturday, January 9th with Artistic Director of Rainbow Stage, Ray Hogg. Register by December 11th to secure a spot.

How do you define success as an artist? How do you know when you’ve achieved that success?How do you get from here (wherever here is) to there (wherever there is)?What do you do next? How do you decide what to do?Figure out how to make tough decisions about your career by embarking on an intense goal setting and strategic planning session. Artistic Director of Rainbow Stage, Ray Hogg will guide you through a step-by-step planning process that will bring you clarity, focus, and direction for your career in the arts. By the end of this workshop series participants will have created their artistic:
1. Mission
2. Vision
3. Core values
4. SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)
5. L…ong, mid & short term goals

After 11 years in the post-secondary educational arena, Ray Hogg underwent an intuitive strategic planning process that ultimately resulted in his appointment as AD of Rainbow Stage within 3 years on the creation of his plan.In his capacity of mentor of the Rainbow Stage Music Theatre Conservatory programming, Ray has led over 50 music theatre artists through this very same process, to enormous success.Sarasvàti Productions is excited to partner with Rainbow Stage to present a FREE workshop in Strategic Career Planning. This workshop takes place over Sunday, January 3rd and Saturday, January 9th at the Koral Studio inside Pantages Playhouse Theatre (180 Market Avenue). Each session will run from 1pm-4pm. Participants will receive worksheets in advance and the benefit of individual feedback from Ray on their plans. We will also have room for 20 people to audit the workshop (sit in and observe). The deadline to register for this workshop is Friday, December 11th. Those wishing to audit may register after the deadline has passed. If you’d like to participate, we recommend registering ASAP. Spaces are filling up quickly.Note: This workshop is open to artists who are; 1) emerging artists 2) students in their fourth year of studies 3) or those with equivalent professional experience; must be 19+.
