New Beginnings Double Bill

We are excited to be working with One Trunk Theatre to offer our spring shows as a double bill. 

New Beginnings is our latest community collaboration and will use music, dance, film and visual art to tell stories of displacement and resettlement. We have been excited to work with numerous newcomer agencies and interview dozens of individuals who have experienced resettlement. Meanwhile, One Trunk Theatre has been working on Boundary Avenue. It is a documentary-style play co-created by Liam Zarrillo, Andraea Sartison, and Caroline Wintoniw. It looks at the town of Emerson and the influx of asylum seekers who crossed into Manitoba over the past year. 

It was a natural fit to share a performance space and offer audiences a chance to see both shows. Stay tuned as we launch details on package deals, as well as opportunities to participate in post-show discussions and receptions.
