Mental Health is Everyone’s Health

Mental Health is Everyone’s Health

Hundreds of stories have been shared with our team of artists and we have been working hard to compile them in to script format. We are so grateful to all of the amazing individuals who have shared their struggles with mental health, as well as the many organizations who have supported our work. We had inspiring forums at the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society, Rainbow Resource Centre for Youth, St. John’s High School, Resource Assistance for Youth and with the Aurora Family Centre’s Newcomer support group. In addition we had the opportunity to observe sessions facilitated by Red Threads Playback Theatre at Selkirk Mental Health Centre, where we also interviewed patients.

We are spending the next couple of months making sure the script truly represents all perspectives by receiving feedback from all participants and stakeholders. We then look forward to sharing presentations with the general public at the end of May!! Stay tuned for full details or feel free to contact us at info@sarasvati.ca for more information.
