Bus

  • Easily accessible from all routes that go down Portage Ave, as well as the free Downtown Spirit buses
  • Close to many express routes from all over the city
  • Nearby stops include Balmoral Station, Colony and Ellice, and Spence St on both Portage Ave and Ellice Ave sides

Bike

The University of Winnipeg offers several locations for secured bike parking, though these are rented monthly.

There are also several open-access outdoor bike parking locations: located on the main campus, in B-Lot, Science Complex, along Portage and Langside and the Buhler Building, and along Portage Ave. There are miscellaneous bike racks throughout the campus.

  • The University of Winnipeg advises that cyclists take the following precautions with their bikes:
    Use a high quality U-lock
  • Remove your quick-release tire and secure it to your bike frame with lock
  • Remove your seat and take it with you

** Note: There are two pre-season Jets games on September 18th and 20th at 7:00PM which will affect parking in the Portage Place Parkade and surrounding downtown area.
