Another festival has wrapped up and we are already planning our 10th anniversary of FemFest for the fall of 2012. We want to know what you thought of this year’s festival. If you didn’t attend, let us know why. It is our goal to showcase amazing work by women playwrights to a wide array of audiences so we are constantly striving to make the festival more accessible and enjoyable for our audiences. Can anyone volunteer or do you have to be a playwright??? Do you give volunteer applications on you website or do I have to go in person?
Thanks for your interest! We are happy to consider all volunteers, not just playwrights. Generally, our volunteers do things such as usher, work at the box office or help put up posters. Sometimes we need specialized volunteers to sew or help in other backstage areas for our productions. If you are interested in volunteering, simply send us a note at info@sarasvati.ca with an outline of what you are interested in doing and your availability. We will then get back to you with some possibilities.
